The Teeth

The Advantages Of Invisalign
Subtle
Unlike traditional metal braces that stand out against your teeth, most people will not realize you are wearing Invisalign. The clear plastic trays are much more subtle, so you don't have to sacrifice your self-confidence through treatment.
Comfortable
While braces come with protruding metal parts that can cause injury to the inside of your mouth, aligners lay flat and smooth over your dental arches. They are custom-made for your smile and apply gentle pressure to move the teeth.
Convenient
Since aligners are removable, you can continue to eat all your favorite foods that would be off-limits with braces. They are easy to clean, and will not restrict you from physical activities or require changes to your lifestyle.

Children
Children can undergo orthodontic treatment as soon as their adult teeth have grown in, typically between the ages of eight and 14. While this may be a little early for some children to handle their treatment responsibly, it is never too early for an evaluation. Teens
Many patients will need to go through orthodontic therapy in their teen years, but dread the idea of metal braces. We now offer Invisalign Teen which comes with an accountability tracker so you can monitor the amount of time your child wears their trays.
Adults
It's never too late to begin orthodontic treatment, even for patients well into adulthood. If poor alignment is affecting your dental function or your self-confidence, you are likely a great candidate for orthodontics. Certain patients, especially those who have undergone orthodontic therapy in childhood and failed to maintain their results, may qualify for Invisalign Express which condenses treatment into six months or less.
How Long Do the Results Last?
The results of orthodontic care are permanent as long as you follow your maintenance instructions properly. For our Invisalign patients, this typically involves wearing a retainer at night. The retainer is very similar to your aligners. In fact, many patients use the last aligner in their series. Generally, as long as you continue to wear a night-time retainer, you can enjoy a straighter, more symmetrical smile for the rest of your life.
