What to Expect When You Arrive for Your Appointment

Thank you for entrusting Jersey City Dental with your oral health. You may be aware of the constantly changing concerns about the Coronavirus and we want to take this opportunity to update you with the precautions our office is taking to ensure the safety of our patients and team.
Our goal is to ensure a safe environment for everyone in our office. If you have symptoms of cough, respiratory distress, or a fever, we are asking that you reschedule your appointment by calling or texting us at our office number: (201) 332-0403. If you have been in close contact with a COVID-19 patient or have travelled out of the country recently we ask you to reschedule your appointment.
Jersey City Dental has always followed the highest standards of infection control, not only meeting but exceeding the current guidelines. Over the past several weeks we have closely followed recommendations issued from our governing authorities including the Center for Disease Control, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Governor Murphy. In order to protect our team, our patients, your families, and the community we have implemented and trained our team on the latest safety measures.

​Safety and Sanitation Policy

Including But Not Limited To:
  • Pre-screening questionnaire required by every patient visiting us prior to their appointment
  • Adhering STRICTLY to appointment times to allow social distancing as much as possible - early and late arrivals are asked to stay outside and text the office for further instructions
  • Asking patients to come alone unless an escort is medically necessary or for translation
  • Asking all patients to arrive with face protection and temperatures taken, offered hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving
  • No waiting room - taken directly into a treatment room by a team member
  • Taking temperatures on each team member daily, and enforcing any team members with ANY cough, runny nose, fever to stay home
  • Sneeze guards have been installed at reception
  • Medical grade true HEPA air filters installed throughout the office
  • All staff are equipped with PPE, including N-95 or KN95 masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields
  • Using multiple intra-oral (and if necessary extra-oral) evacuation systems to reduce aerosols
  • Adding a non-toxic, plant-based, EPA and CDC approved disinfectant to our existing high standard of infection control after every patient
  • Regularly cleaning and disinfecting door handles, counters, reception areas, and all spaces where public interaction occurs.

Jersey City Dental Center proudly owns the Restorative & Cosmetic Dental Center of New Jersey and has been serving patients throughout NJ the last 60+ years.

Our doctors are certified in a variety of specialized and state-of-the-art procedures. Our doctors are highly trained in cosmetic procedures, including veneers and smile make-overs. Our doctors are Preferred Providers of Invisalign®, having completed over 300 cases. Our doctors are highly trained in Laser Dentistry, utilizing the Waterlase. Our doctors are highly trained in SAME-DAY crowns and onlays via CEREC technology"

We provide comprehensive treatment planning and the use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health and esthetics. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Further, we utilize the latest in digital radiography (x-rays) to minimize radiation to our patients. The radiation is so low that lead-filled aprons are no longer required (although we use them anyway).

As a practice, we are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, along with any new medications and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
